- 2Download the skill ZIP from its catalog page. The ZIP includes the SKILL.md and any supporting scripts.
- 3In Claude.ai, open Customize > Skills, click Upload, and pick the ZIP. Validation is automatic.
- 4Open a fresh conversation. The skill is available immediately, and Claude loads it whenever the topic matches.
How it works with Claude.ai
- As of February 2026 the Skills feature is also open to free-tier users, not only to Pro/Max/Team/Enterprise. An active claude.ai account is enough to start.
